Nik Wallenda

Nik Wallenda is a seventh generation aerialist DareDevil who makes his living entertaining audiences. He knows very well the dangers involved in his unusual occupation. His great-grandfather Karl Wallenda fell off a high wire in 1978 at the age of 73 and lost his life. Nik was born into the family business and since the age of six his dream was to walk across Niagara's Horseshoe Falls. When Key Records met up with the "Guiness Book of World Records", holder, he was training at Seneca Niagara Casino for the historic event set for June 15th 2012.

To assist Nik Wallenda with his goal to be the first person to walk across Horseshoe Falls, the casino allowed a two inch steel wire to be set up outside on their grounds. The wire was sloped and wind and mist machines were brought in to simulate the real conditions Nik would encounter when he walks across Horsehoe Falls from United States to Canada. Wallenda had about 20 training sessions at the casino which were open twice daily for the public to see.
